How technical and correspondence information may be processed when this public site is used.

Privacy Notice

Effective date: July 24, 2026
Version: 0.1

This Privacy Notice explains how information may be processed when you visit orientatio.portussophia.com or contact PortusSophia, LLC about the Site.

The Site is operated by PortusSophia, LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. PortusSophia™ names the candidate field architecture presented through the Site; it is not the entity processing business correspondence or operating the Site.

1. Current data posture

The Site is a public informational and source-orientation surface. It currently provides no user accounts, payments, private workspaces, uploads, comments, or public submission forms.

PortusSophia, LLC does not intentionally collect visitor information through the Site, does not presently install first-party advertising trackers or first-party analytics tools, and does not intentionally set first-party advertising or profiling cookies.

2. Information processed through ordinary site access

When a visitor requests a page, hosting, domain, security, and asset-delivery providers may automatically process standard technical information, such as:

  • Internet Protocol address;
  • request date and time;
  • requested page or asset;
  • browser and device information;
  • referring page;
  • network and security signals; and
  • error or diagnostic information.

This processing is ordinarily performed to deliver the Site, maintain security, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and operate supporting infrastructure.

The Site is currently published through GitHub Pages and uses externally hosted PortusSophia assets and supporting domain infrastructure. Those providers process information under their own privacy terms and operational practices. Their services may change over time without changing the substantive purpose of this Site.

3. Copy-prompt control

The Copy prompt control operates in your browser. The text is copied to your device’s clipboard using browser functionality.

PortusSophia, LLC does not receive the copied text or learn that you used the copy control merely because the control was activated. Your browser, operating system, extensions, or the destination service into which you paste the prompt may process that information under their own terms.

4. Email and direct correspondence

If you email PortusSophia, LLC, the information you provide may include your name, email address, message content, attachments, and related delivery metadata.

Correspondence may be retained as reasonably necessary to:

  • respond to the communication;
  • maintain business and provenance records;
  • protect the security and integrity of the Site or organization;
  • comply with legal obligations; or
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and appropriate for the purpose of the communication.

5. How information is used

Information described in this Notice may be used to:

  • provide and maintain the Site;
  • respond to inquiries;
  • protect infrastructure and prevent misuse;
  • troubleshoot technical problems;
  • preserve necessary operational, governance, or correspondence records; and
  • comply with applicable law.

The Site is not intended to build advertising profiles or make decisions about visitors based on automated profiling.

6. Sale and targeted advertising

PortusSophia, LLC does not sell personal information obtained through this Site and does not use Site visitor information for targeted advertising.

Third-party services that a visitor independently uses—including browsers, extensions, search engines, AI systems, email providers, or linked websites—are governed by their own data practices.

7. Disclosure of information

Information may be disclosed only as reasonably necessary to:

  • service providers supporting hosting, domain resolution, security, asset delivery, or business communications;
  • professional advisers acting under appropriate duties;
  • authorities or other parties when required by law or valid legal process;
  • protect rights, safety, security, or infrastructure; or
  • support a lawful reorganization, transfer, or disposition of PortusSophia, LLC, subject to applicable law.

PortusSophia, LLC does not authorize service providers to use business correspondence for unrelated advertising on its behalf.

8. Retention

PortusSophia, LLC retains information it directly receives only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, including correspondence, operational security, provenance, governance, recordkeeping, and legal obligations.

Technical logs controlled by hosting or infrastructure providers are retained according to those providers’ policies and operational requirements.

9. Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect information under the control of PortusSophia, LLC. No public website, email system, repository, or network transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Visitors should avoid transmitting confidential or sensitive information through ordinary email unless an appropriate secure method has been arranged.

The Site links to external repositories, archival services, publications, and other websites. It also provides text that visitors may choose to submit to an AI language model.

When you leave the Site or provide Site content to another service, that service’s privacy terms govern its processing. PortusSophia, LLC does not control a third-party service merely because the Site links to it or its materials are submitted there.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site is directed to a general research and public-information audience and is not directed to children under 13. PortusSophia, LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site.

12. Privacy choices and requests

You may contact PortusSophia, LLC to ask about personal information directly provided through correspondence, or to request correction or deletion where appropriate and legally required.

A request may need to be verified before action is taken. Some information may be retained where necessary for security, provenance, governance, legal compliance, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal rights.

13. Changes to this Notice

This Notice may be revised if the Site adds analytics, forms, accounts, uploads, payments, private services, or other data-processing functions.
